A Perfect Fall Weekend in Chattanooga

Chattanooga is known for a being an ultimate summer destination, with its cool waters, shaded mountain hikes, and events downtown every weekend. What you may not know is that Chattanooga can be just as fun in the fall season!

I thought I would share with what my ideal fall weekend in Chattanooga looks like in case you’re looking for inspiration for a trip or even just a little in-town fun.

Breakfast/Brunch at The Daily Ration!

Wake up and head over to The Daily Ration for delicious breakfast on a huge, family friendly patio. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu and they have some of the best coffee in town.

Hike to Edwards Point

The hike from Signal Point to Edwards Point is my all-time favorite hike in Chattanooga. This 5.1-mile out and back hike has it all—trees, creek crossings, and most importantly, different views of the gorgeous Tennessee River Gorge.

Dinner at Canyon Grill

This hidden gem in Chattanooga’s restaurant scene takes you off the beaten path to our area’s other major mountain, Lookout Mountain. Make reservations ahead of time and enjoy the breathtaking views, both from the restaurant and on the drive there and back.
