Local Chattanooga Coffee Shops

If you are looking for a local spot in Chattanooga with great coffee, authentic menus, a quiet space, beautiful scenery, welcoming atmosphere, and/or a way to support charity, here are some fantastic options to choose from!

Rembrandt's Coffee House -

This European-style cafe can be enjoyed at anytime of the day. Their store is open not only in the morning, but also for lunch and dinner. Everything is freshly made in house. You can savior a wide range of coffees, specialty drinks, pastries, sandwiches, salads, soups, and more. You have the option of enjoying your order inside or sitting on the patio with beautiful decor and a great view of the river. To top it all off, it is located in the Bluff View Arts District, so the art museum and other cultural points are just a few steps away.

Cadence Coffee Company -

When you get coffee from Cadence Coffee Company, you not only get great coffee but you will also be giving to people in need! Cadence partners with nonprofits and donates a portion of its sales to help people in poverty, help people who are facing crisis in their lives, and to end human trafficking.

They also have a pay it forward system. A customer can give an additional $2 to their order, so that someone else less fortunate can get a coffee. If someone comes in and they can’t afford to buy a coffee, they are able to get a free cup because of that generous donation from someone else. When a customer pays an extra $2, they also get to leave a kind note on the shops wall to uplift people who come in.

Another reason Cadence Coffee Company is so great in ethics and taste, is because they get their coffee beans freshly roasted and hand delivered every week from Mayfly Coffee on Signal Mountain.

Sleepyhead Coffee -

Sleepyhead Coffee not only has great coffee and food options, but they are also all inclusive! Anyone and everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the great atmosphere. You can choose from any of their many seating areas, each with their own style and decor. Plant lovers will especially love this place because the cafe is filled with beautiful bright green plants. Sleepyhead Coffee is also inclusive to customers who have food allergies or restrictions because almost all of their menu is vegan and/or gluten free.

Mean Mug Coffeehouse Southside -

Mean Mug Coffeehouse is located in the heart of the Southside. It’s the perfect walking distance away from some of the most popular restaurants, brewery’s, distillery’s, ice cream stores, art gallery’s, shops, markets, and many more in Chattanooga. While providing customers with a great atmosphere they also take pride in the quality of their services and menu by making everything from scratch using fresh ingredients. They serve their breakfast and lunch all day as well as a full espresso menu. Mean Mug’s menu includes a wide variety of delicious and unique meals and pastries, while also providing diverse dietary options for anyone who is vegetarian, vegan, has any food allergies, and paleo.
